Sales Engineer

Responsible for the sales growth and profitability in assigned sales area. The Diagnostic Sales Specialist will reach set objectives, implement sales plans and monitor current sales performance. 

Accountable for building and maintain contracts with relevant key-opinion leaders and decision makers of the assigned area. 


Education 

College degree or above: Sales, Biochemistry, Biology, Chemistry or equivalent 

Experience 


• 3-5 years in a field directly related to the work 
• Previous experience in the IVD (In Vitro Diagnostics) and/or highly regulated FDA environments and biotechnology industry 


Main Responsibilities Your Contributions 


• Understand the peculiarity of the technology, application and maintenance of Leading Biology products 
• Qualify new distributors for Leading Biology business and report to Regional Sales Manager for approval 
• Support the distributors to develop new end user 
• Support the distributors activities to achieve their minimum sales target each year 
• Frequently visit end users to monitoring the satisfaction of end users on Leading Biology company and distributors 
• Collaborate with the After Sales Service group inside the company to produce yearly training plan on distributors, report to Regional Sales Manager for approval 
• Collaborate with the After Sales Service to implement the training plan approved 
• Produce weekly work report for discussion and for Regional Sales Manager approval 
• Produce monthly expenditure report for discussion and for Regional Sales Manager approval 
• Monitor the price level, registration status and end users development situations of the competing products in the market, produce monthly report for discussion and Regional Sales Manager approval 

• Ensure compliance with the Quality Management System, the Company Policies and the Corporate Procedures 


Technical Competencies

• Proven Sales experience and skills 
• Good knowledge of the relative market segment and its key players 
• Knowledge and understanding of medical terminology, chemistry, and physics 
• Knowledge and understanding of basic immunology and immunoassay technology 
• Seasoned experience using Microsoft Office , Google/Gmail, Apple iOS technology software applications

Required skills

Master’s degree in Biology, Biomedical, Medical or related education.
Self-motivated and action oriented team player with good communication and interpersonal skills; able to navigate in matrix organization and work with global team members.
Ability to develop and implement long-term strategies and short-term tactical plans to align with business goals and meet customer demands.
Excellent technical and problem solving skills of varying complexity.
Can accommodate occasional evening/weekend work as needed and is able to travel domestically and internationally up to 20% of the time.


Prefered skills

2+ years of previous experience working with medical devices or complex medical instrumentation, working in: Service Engineering, Technical Field Service, Quality, Manufacturing or R&D Engineering.
Education/knowledge in biology/chemistry or demonstrated ability to understand system application.
Project Management experience.
Experience supporting a Clinical Trial or Clinical Study Program in support of a complex medical device or clinical assay.
Experience working and traveling in a global role.
